New year, new goals, a few old goals.
I, like most other people, have made goals for 2019.
First and foremost – to lose 30 pounds. I’ve never been more motivated to lose weight. All my pants are tight and I refuse to buy new ones. (I’ve gained about 10 pounds in the last six months.)
Second – I want to get through my backlog of indie books to review. I’ve got a stack of physical copies that someone went through the toil and expense and sending to me, so those will be read first. All the e-copies will be read and reviews, too.
And third, I want to finish my YA Fantasy series, Stars and Bones. When I say “finish,” I mean I want to figure out what happens in the last book and outline the last of the series.
And that’s it. Three things. Three goals. Twelve months. I can do every single one, but it’s a matter of DOING rather than thinking about doing or talking about doing. It’s getting off Twitter and putting down the game controller and DOING.
So, this year, 2019, is about DOING. Is about getting shit done.
