I always pronounced it "purse-phone," but apparently it's "Per-sef-o-knee." Huh. I also pronounced Sirius as "sigh-rus." (Harry Potter) I pronounced Chaol as "coal." (Throne of Glass.) This is why I am a fan of easily pronounceable names and those pronunciation guides that fantasy books often have. Anyone got fun mispronunciations to share?
